John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen has finally compiled her favorites recipes in a cookbook called "Cravings." The cookbook is published by Penguin Random House. Besides being a model and TV-host Teigen, who is currently pregnant with her first baby with singer John Legend, is a known cooking enthusiast. "Cravings" offers select recipes for breakfast, roast dishes, pasta, soup, Thai selections and fancy dishes by Teigen.
E! News reports that besides the recipes for home-cooking and party fares by Chrissy Teigen, "Cravings" will also give readers a few snapshots into Teigen's private life. Teigen included generous helpings of anecdotes interspersed inside "Cravings" about her childhood and family memories. Also included, of course, are tid bits about Teigen's marriage to John Legend.
Apparently, before Chrissy Teigen became a model, she wanted to become a chef, so much so that she went to sleep wearing a chef's hat, her mom's apron and oven mitts. Immediately after high school, Teigen and her family had to move to Huntington Beach. Chrissy was inconsolable until she discovered Wahoo's Fish Tacos. On another similar emotionally laden point in her life, a friend advised Teigen to floss every day to help her through the rough patch. Interestingly the advice Teigen's friend gave her worked.
Also found inside the pages of "Cravings" are tidbits about Teigen's high-profile marriage to multi-awarded singer, songwriter John Legend. Teigen shared that she and Legend fell in love during a visit to Lake Como while their first date was at New York City restaurant Il Buco. They got married in Italy. The very first song that John Legend wrote for Teigen can be found in the album "Evolver." Legend called the song "Good Morning."
According to People, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their baby come Spring. The couple underwent IVF (in vitro fertilization), through which Teigen chose a baby girl to be her first child with Legend.
"I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl," Teigen shared. "I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond. A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa - it's crazy!"
Chrissy Teigen's "Cravings" is currently second in Amazon sales to "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child," which is based on J.K. Rowlings' "Harry Potter" series. Which book, would you choose to buy, "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" from JK Rowling's "Harry Potter" universe or "Cravings" by Chrissy Teigen?
