Kate Middleton Urges Prince William To Do Something About His Bald Spot

Kate Middleton is reportedly encouraging Prince William to fix his ever-receding hairline. The Duchess of Cambridge appealed to her royal husband after he was taunted by military friends at a recent event in Anglesey, Wales.

Kate and her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, were embarrassed by the light-hearted snickering, according to The Hollywood Gossip. Both agreed that the bald look wasn't appropriate for the future king. Allegedly, Prince William's concerned grandma is willing to sponsor $30,000 for his hair transplant.

"The future King must look younger and vibrant, and this will be achieved only if William has a full head of hair," said an insider. "Experts in hair transplantation have been dispatched to Kensington Palace - in secret of course Royal courtiers reveal."

The royal couple traveled to Anglesey last week to witness the ceremonial disbandment of the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue. The organization had been running for 75 years until the UK government handed the role to civilian contractor Bristow Helicopters in 2013, per BBC News.

"We have been doing this for 75 years and I think the big point about today is the air crew, the engineers and the other support staff that have all worked together to rescue literally tens of thousands of people through the decades," Wing Commander Mark Dunlop boasted.

Prince William served for SARF from 2010 to 2013. During his military tenure, the duke earned the rank of Flight Lieutenant and had captained in 156 search and rescue operations, saving a total of 149 people along the way.

The royal couple also had a meet and greet session with SARF personnel, including the duke's former comrades. Talking about his reunion with Prince William, RAF winchman Rik Maving said, "It was nice to see him again. He hasn't changed much apart from he's lost a bit more hair. Hey, we're all getting older!"
