Barack Obama Responds To The Little Girl's Crying Video Because He Won't be Her President Forever

A little girl made the headlines after her grandmother; Caprina D. Harris posted her video that went viral. The Facebook video that was posted on Monday featured the little girl outrageously crying after she found out that her favorite president, Barack Obama would soon leave the White House.

According to Huffington Post, the child was upset after finding out that Barack Obama's term is almost over. The upcoming election caused a serious meltdown. She vented out her frustration stating that she's not yet ready for a new one. To make things worse on the girl's part, she and Obama share the same birthday.

The video that was posted by Caprina was captioned, "On Saturday morning just before Gymnastics, My Dranbaby found out that our President Barack Obama was no longer going to be our President!!! He has been her President all of her life and Yes her birthday is also on AUGUST 4!!!! My poor baby!!!"

The Facebook video went viral just a few days after it was posted. It gathered more than 9,000 shares, 44,000 reactions and 13,000 comments.

In response to Caprina's post, President Barack Obama told the child's grandmother to relay his message to the girl as per MSN's report. Obama stated that he's not going anywhere after his term and he'll be waiting for her letters.

"Caprina, tell her to dry her tears, because I'm not going anywhere. Once I leave the White House, I'll still be a citizen just like her, and when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out for her letter, and we'll always get to celebrate our birthdays together!"

Most of the comments posted on the social media website was an expression in the public's sorrow for President Barack Obama's last days on the White House. Most of his supporters mentioned that they felt the same sentiments with the girl.
