Five people, including three children, were found dead in an apparent domestic violence at a home in the town of Fall City in Washington state.
Local police officers received multiple 911 calls just before 5 a.m. Monday of a shooting at a house in Fall City. Cops who responded to the scene found the dead bodies of the five victims, including three children.
A spokesperson for the King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) said they booked a "high school-aged" teen in connection to the shooting. The teen will be charged with first- or second-degree murder, King5 reported.
Who Were Killed in the Shooting
Authorities have yet to release details about the victims, including their ages and genders. However, they noted that the younger victims appeared to be teenagers.
Police have also declined to comment on whether the shooting incident involved parents and their children. They only noted that the suspect and the victims were family members.
The teen shooter, reported to be a "brother" of the victims, reportedly attempted to hang himself after opening fire on his family members, per KIRO 7. This was later debunked by King County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Mellis who said there was a miscommunication between the person who called 911 and the operator who took the call, according to The Seattle Times.
Mellis noted that they are not expecting to make any additional arrests in connection to the shooting. The police also added that the incident is isolated and that there is no continued threat to the public.
"This incident was a very contained tragedy within a family or with an extended family or the residents here," he added.
Investigators will continue processing the shooting site. The probe is also still ongoing.
