YouTube Celebrity Ms. Rachel Takes Make-A-Wish Child to NYC Museum for Exploration and Play

YouTube personality Ms. Rachel and her husband, Aron Accurso, recently took a Make-A-Wish child to a New York City museum.

The Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) made a post on Saturday, Jan. 11, that showed Ms. Rachel, Accurso, and a little boy exploring the various areas in the institution.

"Recently, we had the absolute joy of welcoming [Ms. Rachel], [Aron Accurso], and their friend from [Make-A-Wish America] to explore and play through CMOM," the post read. "Watching their laughter and excitement reminds us of the magic that happens when kids are free to learn, discover, and just be kids."

In the photos, Ms. Rachel was seen lounging in a pink carpeted area with the little boy and her husband. Another photo showed Ms. Rachel and the young boy---who was now donning a firefighter hat---interacting in a makeshift grocery store.

What Is the Make-A-Wish Foundation?

The trip was made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. It traces its roots back to 1980, when a 7-year-old boy battling leukemia wished to be a police officer. His community came together to fulfill this wish, sparking a movement that has since expanded globally.

Today, Make-A-Wish has chapters throughout the United States and affiliates in around 50 countries.
