'The Walking Dead Season 6' Spoilers, News, Update: Negan's Appearance Required Two Versions Of Season Finale, Season's End Heartbreaking

"The Walking Dead Season 6" will usher in Negan's appearance, played by "Watchmen" actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, with violence and a generous helping of profanity. At least, one version of Negan's introduction in "The Walking Dead Season 6" will do that. However, what 'The Walking Dead" fans will likely see of Negan on AMC in "The Walking Dead Season 6" is the relatively cleaned-up version of Negan.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" comic creator Robert Kirkman, showrunner Scott Gimple and director Greg Nicotero have all been anticipating the conflict between portraying Negan in his full, profane glory from "The Walking Dead Season 6" onward against AMC's regulations. Greg Nicotero shared that a concern similar to the Negan situation first cropped up when Abraham Ford, played by "Pawn Shop Chronicles" actor Michael Cudlitz.

In "The Walking Dead" comic book version, Cudlitz's Abraham has a fondness for colorful language. Gimple, however, pointed out that Abraham's lines would not be a problem. The bigger issue, in fact, would be Negan's propensity for incorporating cusses after every other word. Abraham's language is pristine next to how Negan talks.

"There is a rhythm to it that even in some of the takes that we did," Nicotero shared. "What I affectionately call the 'f- takes' have a completely different rhythm to them and a completely different feel. So while editing it, I was very careful to make sure that I preserved a lot of the performance without getting myself into trouble with the profanity."

Uproxx reports that "The Walking Dead" had been criticized in the past for watering down the closing line for "The Walking Dead" Season 4 finale where Rick Grimes, played by "Love Actually" actor Andrew Lincoln, was supposed to have uttered a cuss word. This may mean that Negan's TV version will not be entirely without profanity.

In the meantime, despite the calm that seems to be settling in "The Walking Dead Season 6," Entertainment Weekly points out that this will not last. in In separate interviews, Andrew Lincoln and "The Boy" actress Lauren Cohan who plays Maggie, stated that the "The Walking Dead Season 6" finale will break more than a few hearts. Fans have no certainty for the moment over whether or not this is a heartbreak dished by Negan.

"The Walking Dead Season 6" airs every Sunday on AMC. Do you think Negan will be responsible for the tragic ending of "The Walking Dead Season 6?"
