"Mean Girls" cast member Lacey Chabert is expecting her first child with husband Dave Nehdar. The 33-year-old actress shared her excitement on social media on her pregnancy.
In a post on her Twitter page, Chabert shared a photo of her chihuahua with the caption "Kitty doesn't seem as excited about this as we are ... I'm pregnant!!!!" she posted. "My husband and I are thrilled & so thankful."
US Weekly noted that the dog who was wearing a shirt with the text "My mom is having a baby & all I get is this silly shirt," did not seem happy with the news. But the expecting mom is ecstatic about her baby.
She has been waiting for this blessing since getting married to Nehdar three years ago in Los Angeles. According to New York Daily News, the wedding was a star-studded event which was attended by actress Kaley Cuoco, her sister Briana and actress Ali Fedotowsky.
According to InTouch, the actress also announced their wedding via her Twitter account. "Over the holidays, my best friend and love of my life ... we became husband and wife," Chabert said on social media two years ago.
The definitely thrilled mom-to-be became a household name thanks to her 2004 movie with Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Rachel McAdams. Chabert played the role of Gretchen Wieners, who played as McAdams sidekicks.
IMDB said the character always needed someone to follow in school. "It's no surprise when Regina falls from leadership she follows Cady (Lohan) instead," the movie website added.
Aside from the hit "Mean Girls" movie, New York Daily News said the pregnant actress also appeared in movies like "Party of Five," "Not Another Teen Movie," and the Mariah Carey-directed film "A Christmas Melody" in 2015. "Party of Five" was her first big movie where she played the role of Claudia Salinger.
