Actress Malin Akerman is pregnant. This is the first child of the 34-year-old Swedish -Canadian actress and her Italian musician husband Roberto Zincone.
The 'Watchmen' star's rep. confirmed the news to People magazine. The couple who met in 2003 strengthened their relationship by tying the knot in 2007.
"I really hit the jackpot," People magazine quoted Akerman's opinion about her husband to Women's Health in 2009. "Roberto is so accepting and supportive."
The current development comes shortly after the actress' strong desire to have children with Zincone.
"We rarely bicker," the actress revealed her relationship with husband to Us Weekly. "We'll sort of fume at each other and then we'll figure it out."
The couple also never compromised their romance for career.
"We've had some really great experiences. When I was shooting [2009's Couples Retreat] in Bora Bora, he came out there and it was like a honeymoon that we never had," Akerman told Us Weekly. "We get really lucky and we make it work."
Akerman, born in Sweden and brought up in Canada started her career through television commercials. 'Earth: Final Conflict' was her first movie. She shot to fame with her roles in 'Watchmen' and 'Wanderlust'. She also drew wide attention for her nude scenes in movies like 'Watchmen' and 'The Heartbreak'.
