Jessie James Pregnant With First Child With Husband Eric Decker

Country singer Jessie James and husband Eric Decker will soon become parents. The couple announced on Twitter that they are expecting their first child together.

"Excited to share some news with y'all. We are having a baby," the 25-year-old singer tweeted. The couple also said that they did not know the baby's gender. "We don't know yet, and I don't know when we'll find out. There's no preference, it's cliché, but we'd be so happy with either one." The baby is due in March.

"I have definitely been very rough with morning sickness - it hasn't been quite blissful yet. I'm just so happy to be pregnant and to become a new mommy, that's taking over the feeling of being sick," she told E! News.

She also revealed that the pregnancy news surprised her initially as it "wasn't planned." "But when we did find out we both started crying and hugging each other. We're so excited and feel so blessed with having a baby. We're so excited," she shared.

The couple's reality show 'Eric & Jessie: Game On' will be airing on E! in the next two weeks.

Before she became an established country singer, Jessie was rejected by most of the country labels in Nashville, Tennessee, at age fifteen. She then concentrated on developing her singing skills with Karla Wallace of Yellow Dog Records. One of her songs caught the attention of Mercury Records and she was offered a recording contract. Jessie then released her debut album, 'Jessie James,' in 2009.
