A year after the death of his daughter, Bobby Brown is back in rehabilitation at a California clinic for alcohol and substance abuse according to a source close to the singer. This comes as Brown is planning on welcoming his third child with current wife, Alicia Etheredge.
The singer is back in rehab although this has been denied by Brown's attorney, according to Boombox . No further explanations were provided by the attorney though he will still continue to perform in Charleston on March 4.
Just a week earlier, it was reported that Brown is going to be a dad to his third child with Etheredge. However, this will be his seventh child in total.
The singer of "Don't be Cruel" has had his share of rehab in the past. The 47-year old singer was treated with alcohol and substance abuse in the past. His late wife, Whitney Houston, allegedly introduced him to cocaine. In an interview on NBCs "Today" show, he stated that he had been clean for seven years when Houston died.
Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills Hotel room in 2012 with cocaine found in her system according to New York Daily News. While Brown stated his clean living at the time of Houston's death, he was back in rehabilitation in the same year.
Six months after he was in rehab, he was charged with driving under the influence. He was ordered to an 18-month rehab program, as a result.
Last fall, he announced that he is working on a memoir he claims to be his therapeutic outlet when his daughter Bobbi Kristina passed away last year. Kristina who had been 22 years old died July of 2015. She reportedly suffered from alcohol and substance abuse.
Just like her mom, she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015. She was in a coma for almost six months after which, Kristina died in hospital care.
