'Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, News & Update: Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson Starts Filming, Shares an Intimate Kiss

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were spotted on the set of "Fifty Shades Darker" in Vancouver on Monday. It was the first time that the 33-year-old Irish and the 26-year-old actress started filming the second installment.

It looked like Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele picked up the pieces where they left as they were back again together. In fact, they were shot sharing an intimate kiss while holding an umbrella under the rain.

Jamie Dornan was in his signature classic style with a navy blue suit and a dark gray jacket that gave emphasized to his rugged looks. Dakota Johnson, on the other hand, sported a bright orange jacket over a short dress with black tights.

The on-screen lovers now appeared more comfortable with each other compared to the first time they did "Fifty Shades of Grey" together. In fact, after they shared the romantic smooch, it has been said that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson ended up laughing.

To recall, the two were in high spirits and in good vibes when they were doing the press launch of "Fifty Shades Darker." They gracefully answered every question and elegantly handled the expectations of the erotic novel's enthusiast.

Also, they managed to eagerly respond to every chemistry and sex scenes question. Meanwhile, the original movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey," took in the box office by storm with $550 million earnings worldwide.

Hence, the film's director James Foley was expected meet or even to surpass the first installment. However, in spite of breaking records, "Fifty Shades of Grey" was awarded five "winnings" at the recently Razzie Awards, the annual "celebration" of Hollywood's worst movies.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Jonson won the worst actor and actress and the worst screen combo. Also, "Fifty Shades of Grey" was "awarded" with Razzie's worst screenplay and named the worst film tying up with "Fantastic Four."

"Fifty Shades Darker" was set to hit the theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
