'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' News & Updates: Akuma's Purpose Unveiled; Arcade Release Date Ahead Of Game Console Editions

Since fans of the "Tekken" game franchise are eager to get their hands on the next installment, Bandai Namco is working to release the arcade version ahead of the console editions of the game.

There is no official release date announced at this time but previous reports have suggested that even the arcade version will be deleted. The "Tekken 7" game title's arrival has been pushed back to July 2016, hitting arcades in Japan later than expected.

Latinos Post reported previously that last Feb. 19 to Feb 21 "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" joined The Wizard World Comic Con in Portland. "Tekken 7" game title was also featured in Japan Amusement Expo (JAEPO) 2016. Since the game has been present already in several events, it is expected to be launched soon.

"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will be launched in Japan arcades in July this year and will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date. N4BB reports that those who own an arcade system can purchase the newest version as pre-order until March 18.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the "Street Fighter" crossover character Akuma will represent the "missing link" in the Mishima plot, according to Bidness Etc,. It was already confirmed that the Mishima clan will end in the upcoming game.

The Supreme Master of the Fist will do Kazumi a favor since he is indebted to her. Due to their inclination for more power, there has been an issue rising among the Mishima members. Heihachi is looking for possessing more power, but his son Kazuya feels in danger and wants to kill him first.

In the game's storyline, Heihachi has been a treacherous character. He has been unfaithful to Jin, threw his son Kazuya off the cliff and betrayed his father Jinpachi Mishima. He was disliked by everyone and developed several enemies due to his nature.

Kazuya is plotting to steal the devil powers from Jin and to kill his father. But because Akuma's inclusion in the game comes to end Heihachi and Kazuya, his plans may not succeed.

Kazumi is tired of endless fighting and troubles. In the recent trailer featuring Akuma fans could see Heihachi and Kazumi disclosing their love for each other, so it is still uncertain how things will exactly unfold. It is still unclear what convinced Kazumi to kill the love of her life. It could be because there are more personal issues between them or it could be because of the power issues among the family members.
