'Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2' News & Update: First Free Content Update to be Released

After the release of "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" on Feb. 23, the game's developer, PopCap, hear their fans feedbacks and about to unveil their first free content update, the "Graveyard Variety Pack." The latest upgrade will address the issues complained by the gamers to improve the features of the third-person shooter action.

"Our fans mean everything to us and we've been listening very closely to all of your feedback," Justin Wiebe, the Garden Warfare Creative Director, said in an announcement posted on their official website. He, too, gave a "little sneak preview" of what will come with their latest update.

First on the list is Rose, the character is considered as a support role and specialist and not as a "primary damage dealer." They said that they are working to give her role "balance" so she can perfectly do what she must.

"Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" will also have an all-new map that will bring back its players to Suburbia. Wiebe also confirmed that they are hardly working on "more tuning and balancing" updates for the other characters based on their supporters' feedback.

"Keep your eyes peeled for more information on this soon as we'll be sharing all the details so you know what's changing," he said. "Please continue to share your comments and ideas with us and don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for full details on our Graveyard Variety."

Moreover, "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" already climbed to the top of the UK All-Formats chart after being launched for just a week. It was now number two following the "Far Cry Primal."

Meanwhile, "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" was now a full retail product that has the great elements of its predecessor. In fact, PopCap Games even made it more stylish than before.

All of the character classes of the original Plants and Zombies group are back, but more modified and have "entirely new classes." Players can now enjoy more the single-player game mode and the entire game with its "new built around a base system for each side."

Also, the Plants and Zombies now have their own hub that was separated by an open area called "Backyard Battleground." The said area has a "never-ending" fight in the middle.
