A lot of Hollywood production films nowadays are riding the trend of having to make a trilogy for movies, especially with movies adapted from book. Although there is nothing wrong with having multiple films for a story, there are times where it is questionable. However, fans are not going to complain if "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beast And Where To Find Them" movie will be a trilogy because, like "Harry Potter," they want the movie to not end so early.
Now, J.K. Rowling herself has confirmed the number of movies "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will be -- and there are three. Fans are rejoicing all around the world. Rowling confirmed it via her official Twitter account saying that "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will be a trilogy.
Rowling also squashed the rumors of one of her plays "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" being turned into a series of films as well. On her tweet she said that "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" will only be a play but "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will be a trilogy.
Some fans have also voiced out their concerns, after many fans were left disappointed with J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" trilogy. They are afraid that the same will happen to "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them." Although the teaser trailer for "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" looks magnificent, it could be also misleading but numerous fan, a majority of them believe that the films will do justice to the book.
The first "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" film will be released this Nov. 2016 starring Oscar Award Winner Eddie Redmayne. Other than the "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" films, fans of the Harry Potter world are also excited with "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" play, which will also be coming later this year.
