"Harry Potter" fans, who had been hoping that "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" would become a film as well as a theater play, may go wild because of what Warner Brothers said on top of J.K. Rowling's confirmation. As far as "Harry Potter"creator JK Rowling knows, "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will give "Harry Potter" fans only three films.
According to Metro JK Rowling confirmed through her Twitter account that "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will give "Harry Potter" fans three films in all. A "Harry Potter" fan had initially expressed excitement that "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" will be shown on in the big screens. JK Rowling corrected the notion.
JK Rowling created the "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" spin-off from the Hogwarts booklist for year one. JK Rowling wrote this into the Harry Potter series with "Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone." When JK Rowling published "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" with Scholastics, JK Rowling did not use her own name but used Newt Scamander as her pen name. In the actual "Harry Potter" series, Newt Scamander is the named author of "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them."
For the film trilogy "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" will star Oscar awardee Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander. In terms of "Harry Potter" timelines, JK Rowling designed "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" as a 70-year prequel to the "Harry Potter" series.
According to Daily Mail, Eddie Redmayne was impressed by the "Harry Potter" universe that JK Rowling created. "This world, it's been a wonder really - it's just unlike anything I've ever been a part of," Redmayne stated.
Warner Brothers CEO Kevin Tsujihara, however, adds to what JK Rowling confirmed about "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them." Kevin Tsujihara pointed to the possibility that "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" may be even more than the trilogy that JK Rowling projected. "Jo has a vision for this extension of the franchise, and for the first time, she is writing the script for what she believes is at least a trilogy," Kevin Tsujihara said.
For now Warner Brothers and JK Rowling have scheduled the first "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" film for an intial November 2016 theater release. The second "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" instalment will be seen in 2018. "Harry Potter" fans will then see a 2020 release date for JK Rowling to lay out the third "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" story.
