"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco was not expecting she'd be single at 30-years-old. The actress thought that she was going to have a growing family by this age.
"I thought I'd have a baby by now!" she revealed in a new Cosmopolitan interview. "You see your life going one way, and then it's the direct opposite way. I'm waking up going, Oh my God, my life just flipped upside down."
Cuoco married tennis player Ryan Sweeting last December 31, 2013, but their courtship was brief at only three months. The decision to tie the knot surprised friends and family, but the actress and her then new husband seemed happy together.
Then, in September 2015, the couple announced they were divorcing after nearly three years of marriage. Cuoco admits that what happened changed her views on marriage. "That makes me sad," she said. However, choosing to look at the brighter side of life, Cuoco professed she still looks at love the same way. "I cannot wait to be in love again," she declared. "I don't feel like I am ready yet, which is so different for me. I dive into everything."
The TV star also addressed addressed her relationship with ex-boyfriend and co-star Johnny Galecki and stated that they are very close and they get each other. But she considers rumors about her and Galecki getting back to together as the "worst." "I don't want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex," she said, per Hollywood Life.
The former couple dated secretly in the early seasons of their TV show, but they only came out in the open about the relationship when they broke up in 2010. When Cuoco's divorce broke, fans were quick to assume it had something to do with her closeness to Galecki, whose characters on their TV show have gotten married. The on-screen pair continue to insist that they are not dating, per E! Online.
