"Married at First Sight" Season 3 recently came to an end after showing which of the three couples - Sam Role-Neil Bowlus, Vanessa Nelson-Tres Russell and Ashley Doherty-David Norton - will choose to keep their marriage beyond the FYI reality series. In a recent interview, Neil admits that he "felt like crap" after seeing that he hurt Sam with his decision.
"Married at First Sight" Season 3 finale showed that only one out of the three couples remained married during the episode entitled "Final Decision." Ashley and David first made the decision to end their marriage six weeks after the experiment took place.
The last of the two-part finale of "MAFS" Season 3 also showed Sam and Neil, and Vanessa and Tres' decision. While Sam was still determined to make her marriage with Neil last, the latter did not seem to feel the same.
In a recent interview with NY Post, Sam and Neil discussed what took place during "Married at First Sight" Season 3 and after they decided to divorce. Sam admitted that she "felt betrayed and completely broken" when she heard of Neil's decision even though she had already been anticipating his response.
Neil shared that he "felt like crap" when he saw how his decision crushed Sam. Neil, however, told the publication that seeing that did not change his mind at all.
"My confidence in the decision did not waver in that moment; I still felt it was the right thing to do for my happiness," he said.
"Married at First Sight" Season 3 will be airing "Six Months Later" to show what happened to the couples after the FYI reality series has come to an end. Chicago Tribune reported that the show is already looking for people to star in Season 4.
Casting for "Married at First Sight" Season 4 is set to begin this March in Chicago. The show is reportedly looking to cast "courageous singles who appear to be between 25 and 40 years old."
