'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' News & Update: DLC, 'Awakening,' Released for Xbox One and PC

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC called "Awakening" has been released for PlayStation 4 last month as part of its exclusivity deal. Now, users of other consoles like Xbox One and PC don't have to worry as they can have the expansion pack starting March 3.

"The Awakening" DLC can now be purchased through the Xbox Store and Steam. Gamers with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Season Pass, priced at $50, don't have to pay the extra cost for the new content as the DLC comes with it already.

However, for the ones who have to buy it, it'll be around $15 by itself. Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users are not allowed to download the DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Moreover, the "Awakening" has four new Mega Gobblegum that will be introduced to the new Zombie experience. Crawl Space will make the zombies into crawlers while Fatal Contraption generates the Death Machine power-up.

There is also Undead Man Walking, which can slow the zombies. Meanwhile, Head Drama can count the bullet damage of zombies into head damage. Additionally, the new content also has four multiplayer maps: Skyjacked, Rise, Splash and Gauntlet.

They, too, have the similar three-lane design chosen by the Treyarch team. However, some are mixed up like the Gauntlet, which has various settings for each lane.

Meanwhile, aside from enabling the DLC update on Xbox One and PC, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" new content also fixed some glitches and exploits on the PlayStation 4. The "Awakening" is just one of the four DLC packs of the first shooter game coming out this 2016.

Additionally, the combination of the "Awakening" DLC size and "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" February update already summed up to 9.1 GB. However, the actual "Awakening Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC size" is only 10 MB as it will just unlock the maps that are already on the Xbox One. The PC option might be the same, too.
