Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Catriona McGinn are now parents to a little baby boy.
The first child of the couple was born Monday, Gosselaar's representative told People magazine.
"We are overjoyed with the new addition to our family. We are madly in love with our little boy," he told the magazine. "He is healthy and just perfect - all we could ask for."
The couple has named the baby Dekker Edward. Gosselaar previously told People magazine that he did not want a traditional name for his baby. "It is not traditional and it is not too quirky. It is different, but it's not something odd," he said.
Gosselar. 39, is already father to Michael, 9, and Ava, 7, from his previous marriage to ex-model Lisa Ann Russell. "We've always wanted a big family," Gosselaar said. "The kids are looking forward to a little sibling, and are asking a lot of funny questions right now."
He ended his 14-year long marriage with Lisa in Jun 2010. Gosselaar filed for divorce on June 18, 2010 that was finalised in May 2011. The same year in August he got engaged to advertising executive Catriona. They married on July 2012 at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, California.
