The hit American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" is up to its final episodes for Season 9 and there are swirling rumors that the show will just run until Season 10. However, despite speculations of "The Big Bang Theory" ending in Season 10, cast members have hinted the possibility of an 11th season.
In a TV Line interview, Kailey Cuoco (Penny) was asked if she will be able to continue working on "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11.
"No. I think it's a given that we want to be here. That's the overall consensus," the 30-year-old actress said. She also added that it might be hard for them to continue filming Season 11, but she believes that they are much willing to do it.
CBS and Warner Brothers have to go under negotiations starting next year to guarantee the return of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11. The first thing they have to talk is the availability of the entire cast and their willingness to continue their contracts. However, they might find it hard to get them to all sign for an extended season.
Jim Parson (Sheldon Cooper) also has something to say about "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11. "If the opportunity to go past Season 10 came up, I'd be very hard-pressed to tell you who [among the cast] might say no -- if anybody would. I wouldn't," the 42-year-old actor explained.
Parson already got a number of awards for playing his role in "The Big Bang Theory" as Sheldon Cooper. In fact, he bagged four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
He, too, explained that their writers are still enjoying doing the screenplay as the stars still find it entertaining to play their roles. Hence, Parson revealed that he won't be leaving "The Big Bang Theory."
"The Big Bang Theory" is currently in its ninth season and can be watched on in the United Kingdom via E4 and in the United States via CBS.
