American fitness expert and television personality Jillian Michaels is preparing something for soon-to-be mothers. The celebrity trainer is set to release a new book that will teach pregnant women how to stay happy and healthy.
In an interview with People, the 42-year-old mother shared that her new book "Yeah Baby! The Modern Mama's Breakthrough Guide to Mastering Pregnancy, Having a Healthy Baby, and Bouncing Back Better Than Ever" will be published by Rodale on November this year. The book offers tips to keep mothers and their unborn babies in shape for success.
"Every parent deserves access to the most honest, sound, current information to utilize and nurture their own health and that of their baby," Michaels said. "That's the purpose of this book: To empower readers with all the knowledge, facts, and cutting-edge research, so they can personalize this process, craft their own pregnancy and birth decisions, and make the right decisions for them and their babies."
Michaels explained that her upcoming book is about revolutionizing the pregnancy space. She added that it aims to teach soon-to-be mommies how to give their kids the best jump start in life.
"It's about removing things that can hurt the developing baby, putting things in that give the developing baby every opportunity to get their best foot forward, the best jumpstart and have the hottest and healthiest mommy possible," she explained.
According to the Daily Mail, Michaels, who is best known for her appearances on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" and "Losing It with Jillian," made news in 2011 when she came out as bisexual and publicized her relationship with partner Heidi Rhoades. In the same year, Michaels left "The Biggest Loser" to focus on becoming a mother, and was succeeded by Anna Kournikova.
Michaels is a modern mom to daughter Lukensia, 5, and son Phoenix, 3. In 2012, Rhoades gave birth to Phoenix just two weeks before the couple had successfully adopted Lukensia from Haiti.
