Actress Gwyneth Paltrow opened up on March 4 about how it's like to babysit for power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy. The "Iron Man 3" star also revealed the many things she is busy working on these days and how she is coping with co-parenting with ex-husband Chris Martin.
Paltrow told Entertainment Tonight her fun experience with Blue Ivy while Beyonce and her ex-husband were working the stage during the Super Bowl's halftime show. "It's really funny. It's like my kids' dad and Blue's mom are always doing these incredible, mind-boggling things and I'm always with the kids and the snack bag and baby wipes and juice boxes," the actress shared in the interview. "So, that's pretty much how that is these days."
Beyonce shared some backstage photos of Blue Ivy featured by Pop Sugar and it is bound to make fans go "aww" because of how adorable her daughter looks. They also got a hold of the news that Paltrow was the one taking care of Beyonce's precious little child while she was on stage rocking the Super Bowl.
When asked about how was she handling the whole co-parenting agenda with her ex-husband, she said that the secret was that she must constantly let go. "You have to let go of old ideas, old resentments," Paltrow said. "You have to put the kids first, which I think people have the idea of that, but then oftentimes, you struggle with it."
The 43-year-old actress is now a mother of two kids, Apple, 11, and Moses, 9. Based on her interview with ET, it is looking like co-parenting with Coldplay's Chris Martin is really working for the two. Those parents who are experiencing post-divorce moments would learn a thing or two from this former Hollywood couple.
The former Mrs. Martin was brave enough how she has learned to live with the fact that she is no longer married to the father of her child, but made it a point to focus the things that she loves about him in order to keep up with co-parenting their two kids. "You still want a family, you're just not in a couple. So, I acknowledge we've done it in an unorthodox way but it's working for us," Paltrow added.
