Fortunately, the 29-year-old has heard her supporters' cry and confirmed that she's going to reprise her role in "American Horror Story" Season 6.
According to Movie Pilot, during a guesting on the "Z100 New York" radio show, Lady Gaga was asked if she would take Ryan Murphy's offer to play in "American Horror Story" Season 6. At first, she hesitated to answer the question but eventually guaranteed fans that she would be coming back for the next season of "American Horror Story." However, Lady Gaga said that she can't assure how or when her return will be, but she will surely be back.
Lady Gaga won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her performance as The Countess on "American Horror Story: Hotel" last year.
However, more than the fans wanted to see Lady Gaga reprising her role, it's Ryan Murphy who was eager to have the singer for the second time around. In fact, the 50-year-old television screenwriter was inviting her to be part of the regular cast. Moreover, Lady Gaga surprised everyone for her portrayal as the bloodsucking fashionista, who owned the Hotel Cortez.
Meanwhile, Screen Rant says that another actress will also reprise her role in FX's "American Horror Story."
Angela Bassett, who has starred in the previous seasons of "American Horror Story" ("Coven," "Freak Show" and "Hotel") has confirmed that she would be present in the new season of the hit show. The 57-year-old star confirmed her return while promoting her film "London Has Fallen" and spilled some details about her character.
"I will be back... I think I might be psychic. I think. But it can all change, we don't start filming until June this year, so anything is possible and everything can change between now and then," Bassett said.
"American Horror Story" Season 6 is scheduled to release on FX this fall.
