Having babies in quick succession has become the latest trend among celebrity moms. Before completing one year after the birth of her first child, Model Maggie Rizer is going to have another baby.
Recently Kristin Cavallari, less than two months into motherhood revealed her plan for another baby within a year.
The 34-year-old Rizer confirmed expecting another boy with her husband Alex Mehran to People magazine.
The pregnancy news comes shortly after the model lost her favorite Golden Retriever Beatrice.The baby boy is due March 23 will be joining elder brother 11-month Zander.
"Alex and I always wanted a big family," she explained to People. "We want to have as many kids as we can - within reason."
The model who grew up with four siblings, always loved the idea of having two children closer in age.
It's the "sweetest thing in the world," she revealed her happiness to People. "A made-for-you best friend. We feel incredibly blessed."
However, she does not have much love for pregnancy.
"I'm not that girl that's like, 'I love it, I can embrace it,'" she told the People with a laugh. "I'm like, 'When is it going to end?'"
Rizer can't stop talking when referring to her son Zander.
"He's hysterical. He's happy," she said. "He's standing by himself now, clapping and waving." "It's so amazing that they come out as blobs and they develop into these real little people with great personalities."
Rizer tied the knot with Iranian businessman Mehran in 2010. Apart from modeling, Rizer also has tried her hand in movies and television.
