To recall, Hernandez and his team released "Shadow Moses" teaser in January that made the fans of the franchise excited. "Metal Gear Solid" enthusiasts found it a "faithful remake" that has the real meaning of the original "Metal Gear Solid."

Moreover, supporters of the title were looking forward to "Metal Gear Solid" employed with Unreal Engine 4 that will make the adventure of Solid Snake in high-definition. The developers were set to update "Shadow Moses" with better graphics to keep pace with today's high standard.

However, some said that Konami was the reason why "Shadow Moses" developers have to stop creating the "Metal Gear Solid" remake. The group who's in charge of "Shadow Moses" didn't give any details about the cancelation and said that "some other news" will follow, Slash Gear reported.

"Metal Gear Solid" fans are still waiting for the developers' additional statement that will explain why "Shadow Moses" was called off. In fact, they thought that things were running smoothly as the people behind the reboot were continuously giving updates about the "Shadow Mose's" developments.

However, some game experts believed that the reboot would not really push through as there was very little chance that a big game company like Konami would allow other developers to recreate their own title such as the case in "Shadow Moses" from "Metal Gear Solid."

Also, there were hearsays that the people behind "Shadow Moses" were not really composed of a team but of one person only. Hence, it would be hard for a single man, Hernandez, to create the whole "Metal Gear Solid" remake with Unreal Engine 4.
