Gymnast Turned Mother Fulfills Dreams Despite Having a Baby

A gymnast turned mother proved to the world that having a baby may give physical changes in shape and appearance for some time, but it's not a reason to stop pursuing to fulfil her dreams.

The video below shows how this determined mom performed gracefully and charismatically with her young toddler on. She even managed to include her little bundle of joy in some of her steps, according to Little Things.

Oftentimes women tend to accept pregnancy as the point of letting go of the majority of their involvement in physical activities. They consider this joyous time as also a time to bid goodbye to some of their habits and dreams especially when it requires strength and flexibility.

However, it is innate for a woman to be multitasked. She is capable of having her capacity enlarged that she can afford to be loaded with more without letting go or even lessening her commitment to her present tasks.

Julia Sharpe, who has been a gymnast since she was two years old, proved that pregnancy and physical change cannot stop her nor slow her down from trying to reach her breakthrough. She continues to exercise and do gymnastics even during her pregnancy with the proper guidance from her physician.

"At about 16 weeks, the contractions started so I was told to stop using my abs. At that point, I could mostly just do small swings and handstands, but I tried to continue a strength regimen that didn't use my abs, and I swam," she said, according to Medical Daily.

It is never wrong for a mom to continue working out for her passion even after having a baby. It only takes decision, strong determination and proper time and strength management. What's important is that she is able to do it with wisdom and not compromising on the physical as well as the emotional needs of the baby.
