"Orange is the New Black" star, Lori Petty, will grace the March 14 installment of "Gotham" as Jeri with a mysterious personality. In the "Gotham" teaser, the 52-year-old star is seen with her peculiar grin and light makeup, which fueled the assumptions that the new Joker will be a girl.
In the "Gotham" teaser, Lori Petty was also wearing a weird outfit and a green short hair with big spectacles, according to Movie Pilot. It seemed like she was in an underground concert with a lot of people donning the same punk rock attire.
Moreover, it looked like "Gotham" will introduce a different kind of Joker. The "Gotham" creative may be aiming to connect the role of Lori Petty to the life of "The Clown Prince of Crime." Meanwhile, in a press release of "Gotham's" "This Ball of Mud and Meanness" episode, it said that Bruce was on his journey to look for his parent's murderer, which was the played by guest star Michael Bowen as Matches Malone.
The protagonist would find help from his friends Alfred and Selina. On the other hand, Gordon would follow Edward Nygma to know where Kristen Kringle. Hugo Strange, played by BD Wong, would continue his therapy to decrease Penguin's violence, per Screen Rant.
