"The Elder Scrolls" series is one of the most popular action role-playing games at the time. It is known for its richly detailed and free-form gameplay. Now, many are looking forward to knowing when will Bethesda release "The Elder Scrolls 6." Will it be happening anytime soon?
According to Ecumenical News, "The Elder Scrolls 6" will not see the light of day soon. However, despite Bethesda's decision to keep tight-lipped about the game, fans continue to speculate what to expect in the upcoming game.
There are rumors suggesting that "Elder Scrolls 6" will be unveiled at the upcoming E3 2016, BreatheCast reports. Last February, Bethesda announced that they would join the annual event for video game developers. They also revealed that they will be hosting a press conference in June.
Thus, many fans assume that these moves will eventually lead to the announcement of "The Elder Scrolls 6's" release date. This is because Bethesda also did the same strategy when they announced "Fallout 4." Per Telegraph, "Fallout 4" was announced at E3 2015.
Meanwhile, there are also talks that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be set in Argonia, one of the fictional regions in the "Elder Scrolls" world. Although this is not confirmed yet, these reports have been running in the rumor mills for quite some time now.
On a separate note, Bethesda announced that they are hiring new developers for the new projects.According to the Attack of the Fanboy, four positions are up for grab. Bethesda's Montreal studio is looking for two and the Washington DC location is in need of another two.
For those interested, the team is looking for two graphics programmers, a game developer and an engine programmer. They need someone with experience on RPGs for PC and consoles.
Nothing much is said in the job post but fans are quick to speculate that Bethesda is working a DLC for "Fallout 4." However, the DLC can be done by a small team. There are also rumors that the new hires are for Bethesda's new project. The team already announced earlier that the have new projects on the way.
