There has been a lot of shocking scenes in HBO's "Game of Thrones" as there have been blood, death and a lot more, as well as some messed up intimate scenes between the characters. In the latest season of "Game of Thrones," there have been a lot of thing unraveling. One of the most remembered scene in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 was the part where Sansa Stark was raped by her husband, which upset a lot of the fans of "Game of Thrones."
Other than this specific scene, one more scene disturbed a lot of the fans of "Game of Thrones" as well and this was the sex scene between Natalie Dormer, who play Margaery Tyrell in the series, and Charles Chapman, who plays Tommen Baratheon. Fans were quite taken aback by the intimate scene knowing that in the book where "Game of Thrones" was inspired specifically pointed out that Tommen Baratheon, at that time, was around 12 years old while Natalie Dormer's character, Margaery Tyrell, was a lot older, a full grown woman.
So, many fans were quite upset but that is part of the shock factor "Game of Thrones" is well known for. Just recently, with the season six of "Game of Thrones" nearing, Charles Chapman discussed the bedroom scene in an interview. Charlie Chapman in real life is now 18 but, during that scene, he was still 16.
"It's not awkward, it might look awkward on screen because of the age difference but it's pretend, it's all pretend. We're actors," Chapman told Express at a recent "Game of Thrones" press event of the sex scene. "Natalie's a lovely person, she made me feel unbelievably comfortable," he said. "Hopefully she was comfortable with me. But the sex scene and stuff, it all ran smoothly. It's all planned, we talk about it, it's a normal day."
"Game of Thrones" Season 6 will be released during the fall season.
