Many are hooked on the match making reality show "Marriage at First Sight." The show featured a different approach to finding one's perfect match. How did the first season ended?
Three couples were married in "Married at First Sight." The three pairs went into their wedding without any knowledge of their bride or groom. After several weeks as a married couple, they will decide whether they pursue their marriage or have a divorce.
Parent Herald previously reported that the "Married at First Sight" Season finale ended with Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russell choosing to keep their vows. Meanwhile, the two pairs Sam Role and Neil Bowlus, and Ashley Doherty and David Norton decided to take their separate lives.
However, it seems that even Tres and Vanessa's marriage is on the rocks. Per Inquisitr, a preview clip features Vanessa crying while talking about her relationship with Tres.
In the "Marriage at First Sight" "Six Months Later" reunion special the pair revealed that they are no longer together, New York Post reported.
"Things just fell apart," Vanessa said in tears. She added that they stopped being intimate. "It was terrible. Tres tells me that he doesn't have romantic feelings for me."
On the other hand, while Tres and Vanessa want to take their lives apart, it seems that Sam wants to reunite with her ex-husband Neil.
Sam admitted that she believed Neil when he said that he was committed to their marriage. She was very surprised when Neil decided to have a divorce.
"He had said all along how he was committed to the marriage and the relationship. He never told me he was losing interest in our marriage or me," Sam told US Weekly.
However, on the reunion clip Sam admitted that after seeing herself if she were Neil, she would also ask for a divorce so she understood him.
"I'm sad because if I were you, I would have asked for a divorce, too, because I didn't like what I saw in me," Sam told Neil per US Weekly.
The couple won the "Cutest Ex-Couple" award for their genuine post-breakup friendship. With Sam and Neil's growing friendship, it is possible that ex-couple will eventually reconcile.
"There's some hope in me that there's some future for these two." Dr. Pepper said.
