'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers: Show Returns On April; Slain Characters To Take the Spotlight

CW's popular supernatural drama TV series "The Originals" is set to return to the small screens next month. While the show is still over three weeks away, many fans can't wait to learn what to expect in the next episode.

According to Ecumenical News, the slain characters will take the spotlight in the upcoming "The Originals" episodes. Based on the recent trailer released Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Finn Mikaelson (Caspar Zafer) will be the highlight of the show.

Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will continue on their journey away from New Orleans.

In the "The Originals" "An Old Friend Calls" episode, Hayley decided to leave the town. She told Elijah (Daniel Gillies) that she could no longer contain her guilt over the death of her husband Jackson (Nathan Parsons). For this reason, she decided to go with Klaus.

Hayley was devastated that the love of her life left her early. She admitted that following Jackson's death, they will be slowing down a little bit.

"Everything is pretty slow building, which is what you'll see over the next few episodes," Tonkin told Entertainment Tonight. "But obviously, it's going to cause a lot of problems because that wedding wasn't just a wedding of love it was a wedding of unity with these pack members, so we're going to explore that."

Although the two characters are not featured in the trailer, there are still chances that they will appear in the next episode of "The Originals." Based on the images shared in the Spoilers Guide, Hayley and Klaus are in the woods. One of the photos features the pair with their attention glued to one direction.

Did they see something that threatens them? Is there someone in the woods other than them?

There are rumors suggesting that their road trip will eventually tie with the flash forward events that will eventually unfold its parent series, "The Vampire Diaries."

Per Return Dates, "The Originals" Season 3 Episode 16 titled "Alone with Everybody" will premiere on Apr. 1, 2016 at CW.
