It is now known that the release date of "No Man's Sky" is nearing and a lot of fans and soon to be fans of the video game are very excited for its official release. The question though of every gamers mind is how much would it cost them to purchase "No Man's Sky."
Previously, it was reported that since "No Man's Sky" is no longer and independent title it may cost a lot more. Rumors have it that "No Man's Sky" will cost gamers a staggering $60. Well, considering that it has an almost never ending game play, $60 seems reasonable but is it really deserving of a full AAA title cost?
"No Man's Sky," which is the most highly awaited video game this year and last year probably, has revealed that there will almost be a never ending gameplay; once players have discovered a new planet or world another one will open up with new fauna and new discoveries. There is no question that "No Man's Sky" is extremely intricate and fun, but for it to have a $60 price tag and it even not having missions and stuff seems a little too much.
Most of the indie video games in North America have a price tag of around $15 to $25. It should be noted that the creative minds behind "No Man's Sky," which is Hello Games, is an independent game developer.
So, why the high price? No one really knows. Already Hello Games have confirmed that they will sell "No Man's Sky" at $59.99.
Other than the price, "No Man's Sky" is already getting flake from some game reviewers saying that the hype has almost died down and now "No Man's Sky" has been scrutinized by Raj Patel, a former Canadian Community Manager for Xbox. "Every gameplay image I've seen of No Man's Sky looks like it could take place on the same planet. 'Infinite universe' eh? I don't see it," Patel said.
Despite this, "No Man's Sky" will be released this June 21 on PS4 and PC.
