'The Predator' Release Date, News & Update: Arnold Schwarzenegger in Talks to Appear in the Movie

There are speculations that Arnold Schwarzenegger will again star in the upcoming "The Predator" movie. Schwarzenegger, 68, revealed that he is about to meet Shane Black, the director of the "The Predator," which added fire to the rumors.

"I haven't talked with [Shane Black] yet but I'm going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon," Schwarzenegger told The Arnold Fans. "Just as soon as I'm finished with [Arnold's Sports Festival] and The Apprentice and all this stuff ... I will get together with him."

Some assume that Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer. However, people behind the making of "The Predator" have not yet revealed any details about the movie, according to Game Spot.

"The Predator" has a number of remakes, but Schwarzenegger didn't appear in any of it. Also, the bodybuilder unveiled that he is about to attend a conference about "Conan," which he previously admitted he wanted to play.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Collider last year, John Davis revealed what fans can expect from the upcoming "The Predator" film. He said that he already saw the movie's script and he found it "genius."

John Davis added that the new "The Predator" will be more entertaining compared to its predecessors as it will have a different twist. "Looking at it from a different light, he's got a way of looking at this that makes you excited again," he said.

Furthermore, the official Facebook page of "The Predator" revealed its first teaser poster. Shane Black, who also starred in "The Predator" as Hawkins, collaborated with Fred Dekker to write the movie's screenplay, per IGN.

Here we go again, bro.
