'Grimm' Season 5 Episode 12 Spoilers: Nick and Monroe are About to Unlock the Secret

Marking the 100th episode of "Grimm," the upcoming episode promises exciting revelations and discoveries. Particularly, as Nick and Monroe seemed to be closer in unlocking the secret.

"Grimm" Season 5 promises interesting revelations and it does not disappoint even until Episode 12. According to Movie News Guide, the episode will show Nick and Monroe searching for the hidden treasure in the Black Forest, Germany. It seems that the guys are now closer to unlocking the Seven Keys. This long-lost treasure was kept hidden for many centuries. Nick and Monroe had encountered obstacles in their quest to unlock the carefully kept secret.

Christian Today tells more about Episode 12 titled "Into the Schwarzwald." Just like in previous episodes, Nick and Monroe will encounter several forces that are working hard to keep the secret hidden. Since all of the keys are in the possession of Nick and Monroe, the Wesen group makes a move to eliminate them.

Ecumenical News further reports that the treasure the Grimm knights hid during the Crusade is located around the area where Nick and Monroe are exploring. In the last episode, the duo managed to find an old foundation in the heart of Black Forest. The entire thing collapsed just as the Wesen group arrived to stop them. They may be successful in find the hidden treasure but the question now is how would they be able to get out of the forest alive.

Meanwhile, the same chaos is brewing in Portland. A new assassin in town will have Hank and Wu on the run. The assassin slayed the mayoral candidate that Captain Renard is supporting. This prompted Renard to help out Hank and Wu in search for the killer. While the three pursues the killer, Eve keeps tabs on him. This may mean that the assassin is someone from Black Claw.

Rosalee will also fight her own battle with someone from her past comes back to visit her. "Grimm" Season 5 Episode 12 will air on March 11 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. Check out the promotional clip below.
