Tony Parker to open Crème de la Crème French Food Truck in the Alamo City

San Antonio may now gorge on delicious French cuisine as the San Antonio Spurs guard, Tony Parker rolls out his own French food truck next week. The food truck's name is Crème de la Crème Chef.

The food truck's kitchen will be manned by non-other than Parker's Private Chef, Cliff Chetwood, who will also be his business partner. It will start serving on Friday, March 18, as reported by Eater.

The food truck will boast "a rotating menu inspired by Parker's French heritage and Chetwood's travels to France." Its menu includes escalope de veau, salade chèvre chaud, escalope de saumon and steak frites.

"Chef Cliff has been feeding my family and me fantastic food for nearly five years," Parker said. "This food truck is an opportunity to share a part of my French heritage with the people of San Antonio through Chef Cliff's culinary creations."

"I've been blessed to have learned from some of the best chefs in France and I want to share some of what I experienced there with my hometown using fresh, local ingredients," said Chef Cliff.

On the other hand, a former NBA star brings healthier foods to South Miami. Ray Allen will be opening and organic fast food joint "Grown" at 8211 South Dixie Highway, according to Counsel Heal.

Allen and his wife, Shannon, said that their inspiration for the organic restaurant is their nine-year-old son, Walker who has type 1 diabetes. They have been working to start the business for six years.

Shannon said that she could not just sit around and wait for someone to create an organic fast-food option that suits their family's dietary needs. They did some research and found that they are not the only family who is looking for a healthy option. "Families everywhere are looking for convenience without compromise."
