"Star wars: The Force Awakens" is a hit. Many "Star Wars" fans are very excited with the return of the galaxy far, far away. However, following its huge success, much is expected in the upcoming film "Star Wars Episode 8."
If you watched "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," you would agree that the film ended with Luke Skywalker and Rey meeting for the first time in a breathtaking island. It was all mountains and oceans. Per Derry Journal, the scene was shot at the Skelling Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, County Kerry.
"Star Wars" fans will be seeing the same spot in the upcoming "Star Wars Episode 8" film because its first scenes are taken at the same location.
Meanwhile, actress Daisy Ridley, who took the lead character, Rey in "Star wars: The Force Awakens" revealed that fans can expect several teasers of "Star Wars Episode 8" as they continue to film.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress shared about her experience in filming "Star Wars Episode 8."
"It's still very lovely and warm and friendly, just like '7' was," Ridley said. "I think Rian actually wants to be a bit cheekier with the little tidbits of information that are going out. Which is fun! ... Even obviously Carrie [Fisher] and Mark [Hamill] putting out the pictures with their chairs. It's a little bit freer, than it was [before]."
There is no official title for "Star Wars Episode 8." However, Independent reported two potential titles.
"Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple" is one of the potential title. This is taken from Reddit. The source claims that the title will be announced on May 4. On a separate note, a Croatian fan site suggests that it will be titled "Star Wars: The Order of the Dark Side."
Nothing is confirmed at the time. However, it will eventually be announced. Per the report, the official title of "Star Wars Episode 7" was announced 13 months ahead of its release date. So, it might take a while before the official title for "Star Wars Episode 8" will be announced.
"Star Wars Episode 8" is slated for release on Dec. 15, 2017.
