Trick or treat?
This one is definitely a scary treat. With Halloween just around the corner people have already begun to scare the bejesus out of each other. One such prank played by an Oklahoma man prompted his neighbor to call 911.
Johnnie Mullins, a resident of Mustang, Oklahoma, decided to pull an extremely creative Halloween prank. He placed two fake dead bodies in his driveway covered in a pool of blood and completed the false crime scene with hand prints on his garage walls.
What happened next?
Neighbors were obviously shocked, panicked and "infuriated." One of the neighbors was absolutely convinced that what lied in the adjacent garage were real dead bodies and like a law-abiding citizen called 911 and informed the police about the 'crime.'
Upon arrival, the city police had a good laugh about the prank and said that Mullins did nothing illegal and was rather trying to keep the Halloween spirit alive.
Some were worried about the impact the prank would have on children. "My heart about came out of my chest. I thought 'Oh my God.' If I think it's real, just think of what a child would think?" neighbor Rebecca Fuentes told KWTV-TV.
Mullins in his defense said that he liked scaring people.
"My kids wanted to decorate so that's what we did. ... the kids that live in this neighborhood don't freak out or anything, I mean I'm sure they did at first. .... It's Halloween, I don't think it's too far," he said. Seems legit.
Anyway, what is Halloween without scares! Can you come up with something scarier for Halloween?
