Security Guard Discovers Dead Foetus In Teen Mom's Bag

A teenager was caught carrying a dead fetus by a security guard at a Victoria's Secret store, New York, Thursday.

The guard suspected 17-year-old Tiona Rodriguez and her friend of shoplifting. Upon checking their bags, he was shocked to find a dead fetus.

The Police was informed and after her arrest Rodriguez told the cops that she underwent a miscarriage just a day before and did not know what to do with the dead baby. She is already a mother to a two-year-old boy.

"It was discovered that one of the females had what we believe to be a fetus (in her bag)," Sgt. Lee Jones of the New York Police Department told Business Insider.

The authorities found the deceased baby wrapped in a plastic bag and was hidden among clothes. Rodriguez was then taken to Bellevue Hospital. An autopsy would be performed on the fetus to know the reason behind its death, reported Huffington Post.

Rodriguez's friend, Francis Estevez, was taken to the Midtown South Precinct stationhouse for further investigation.

Police officials searched the teenage mother's house for evidence. It is reported that she updated her Facebook status saying she was suffering from period cramps.

"These Cramps SON," she wrote.

While some customers at the VS store were shocked, some empathized with the teenage mother.

"She must be going through a big depression. She must have been wondering how she was going to get rid of it," said Yvonne Sonera.

The two girls have been charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petty theft.
