Molly Sims Struggling to lose Baby Weight

New mom Molly Sims is struggling to regain her pre-pregnancy body.

The actress and former model gave birth to a baby boy, named Brooks Alan Stuber in June. However, she is still working hard to shed the 50 pounds she gained after conceiving her first child.

"The pressure is part of the problem because we feel like we need to look like a 20-year-old or someone in a magazine who just stepped out three weeks later and? it's not realistic," Belfast Telegraph quoted Sims on "Shed Baby Pounds Like A Celebrity" on the Today show, Friday.

"I gained 50lbs, and it was hard and even harder after. I have three Spanx on right now."

The 39-year-old is under the personal care of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson.

"Tracy's method has changed my body," Hollywood life quoted Sims as telling HollyBaby.com at the Oct. 5 at the launch of the Tracy Anderson Method Pregnancy Project at The Top of The Standard in New York City.

Anderson, who released nine fitness DVDs for expecting moms gained attention for regaining her pre-pregnancy body, weeks after giving birth to second child Penelope.

"It focus on everything; arms, your legs, your butt, your feet, everything," OK! magazine quoted Sims referring to the DVDs. "It's overwhelming what your body goes through. I'm so lucky to have someone like Tracy in my life and I work with amazing people."

Sims dropped out of college to pursue her career in modeling. She has starred in several comedy films such as "The Pink Panther 2," "The Benchwarmers," "Yes Man," and "Fried Up." She also played the role of Delinda Deline on the NBC series "Las Vegas."

She married film producer Scott Stuber, September 24, 2011 and confirmed their pregnancy in January.
