A school shooting occurred this morning at Sparks Middle School in northern Nevada and early reports say "some people" were shot during the shooting.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, police spokesman Rocky Triplett said the suspect has been captured and is in custody. Police said on their website that they believe "the suspect has been neutralized."
Triplett said students had been evacuated from the school to nearby Agnes Risley Elementary School. The students from both schools were then being moved to Sparks High School. Parents were asked to come and pick up their children from school.
Angela Rambo, spokeswoman for Renown Regional Hospital said they have received two male patients, both minors, and both are in critical condition.
Further details surrounding the shooting at Sparks Middle School weren't immediately available.
