Mom Launches Plea To Help Find Toddler Daughter’s Beloved Teddy Bear

A mother from St. Helens, England made a desperate plea to anyone who can help her find her young daughter's beloved teddy bear. She believes the soft toy was left on a Jet 2 plane during a flight to Manchester Airport from Gran Canaria last Saturday.

Through her Facebook account, mom Riane Martin had emotionally asked for help from anyone who might be able to reunite her two-year-old daughter Sienna with her treasured teddy bear named Bobby. She said the irreplaceable little black teddy bear has been with Sienna since she was born and the toddler was unhappy after finding out that it was lost.

"Bit of a long shot but does anyone work for or know anyone who works for Jet 2 at Manchester airport? Sienna has left her bear on the plane flying back from Gran Canaria to Manchester airport this evening and she is devastated as am I," Riane posted with accompanying photos of Sienna and teddy Bobby.

"She has had it with her since the day she was born and through all of her operations," Riane added. She explained Bobby cannot be replaced because she bought it during a honeymoon with her husband and had it made just for their first baby.

"It is black bear with white writing on it and it is from Route 66," she further said. "If anyone can help us find it I will be so grateful as will Sienna. She has gone to bed a very unhappy little girl."

Moreover, Jet 2 has already responded to Riane's appeal. The airline staff conducted a thorough search, however, they failed to find the lost toy.

"Since finding out about Bobby, Jet2.com's friendly team have been on a mission to reunite Sienna with her beloved bear, spending the past 48 hours scouring the airport, aircraft and lost property store cupboards," a Jet 2 spokesperson said, as reported by Manchester Evening News.

"Unfortunately, Bobby is still missing but the airline is still supporting Riane in her social media search to #findbobbybear and has also sent Sienna one of its Jettoo cuddly lion toys to comfort her," the airline representative added. "If anyone does spot Bobby or has any information, please contact pressoffice@jet2.com."
