Kim Kardashian did not invite her step-father Bruce Jenner to her engagement with rapper Kanye West, according to several reports.
Gossip website TMZ reports that the Kardashians did not tell Bruce about Kim's big day. The reason, though, remains unclear. It was previously reported that Bruce did not approve of Kim getting involved with Kanye immediately after she broke up with ex-husband Kris Humphries.
The gossip website reported that the 33-year-old socialite told him about the engagement after the ceremony took place.
Aw! Poor Bruce!
Recently, Kris and Bruce Jenner announced separation and ended their 22 year long marriage.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the couple told E! in a statement. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
In recent episodes of 'Keeping up with the Kardashians,' 63-year-old Bruce was seen moving to his beach house alone saying he needed more space. This sparked media speculations about the troubles in the couple's marriage. But their daughter Khloe Kardashian clarified saying that everything was fine between her mother and step-father. She said they "like to live apart" even though "they're not having problems."
Their separation paved a way for Kris to date younger men. According to an HollywoodLife, an insider told them that the 57-year-old Kris was "tired of being held down." "She wants to date, and she wants to date younger men," a friend of the Kardashian family told the entertainment website. "Kris and Bruce were fighting nonstop and Bruce was tired of Kris treating him like a second-class citizen."
