The release date for the new DLC pack of "Star Wars Battlefront" called "The Outer Rim" has been revealed. "The Outer Rim" will come out on April 5 with a price of $14.99. It will be downloadable starting 9 a.m. CST, per GameStop
"The Outer Rim" comes with four new maps that feature the battles in Sullust and in Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine. Also, gamers can now enjoy the sail barge and Nunb's homeworld, according to Screen Rant.
"The Outer Rim" also has a new game mode dubbed as Extraction. The new feature will let players control rebel forces to have an important shipment back to their boat. But of course, the game won't be completed if the Empire won't do anything to stop them.
Moreover, "The Outer Rim" also carries new ammunition like the Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. The pistols also come with new characters. Players can now use Nien Nunb, the member of Rebel Alliance, and Greedo.
Fans have the reason to celebrate as Xbox Live offers "The Outer Rim" DLC pack with a $5 discount for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. There are also some merchants, which includes Walmart, giving PlayStation 4 codes for "The Outer Rim" for less.
Earlier this week, "Star Wars Battlefront" released an additional free update along with a new teaser showing the latest content. The upcoming upgrade has the Hutt Contracts that can unlock new equipment "upon completion," as per Polygon.
The new feature will be free for all and will be added to "Star Wars Battlefront" and not just to the ones who will purchase "The Outer Rim" DLC pack. The upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" update's trailer is titled, "Free Game Updates," per another article from Polygon.
