"Married at First Sight" Season 3 star Vanessa Nelson recently spoke up and shared her thoughts on divorcing her husband, Tres Russell and whether she still sees a future with him. Is there still a chance for reunion between these two couples from the FYI reality series?
"Married at First Sight" Season 3 couples Vanessa Nelson - Tres Russell, Sam Role - Neil Bowlus, and Ashley Doherty - David Norton have all chosen to divorce their partners after the FYI reality show came to an end. During the show's finale episode, only Vanessa and Tres decided to keep their marriage beyond the series.
However, during the "Married at First Sight" Season 3 special episode titled, "Six Months Later," Vanessa and Tres admitted that they were no longer together. Many fans expressed hope to see the couple back together, as they both seemed to have an instant chemistry on the show.
In a recent interview with Vanessa, the "MAFS" Season 3 star stated that there is no longer a chance for her and Tres to get back together.
"I would say no," she told The Knot. "Only because I spent a long time wondering about that, crying about that, being heartbroken about that, and that what people really don't know is that, when I was watching the show, I was heartbroken."
Vanessa also went into details as to what happened after "MAFS" and why her relationship with Tres failed. The reality star shared that Tres suddenly stopped being intimate with her and as a result, she felt that she was lacking for him.
Vanessa's "Married at First Sight" Season 3 partner, Tres Russell also shared his thoughts on his divorce with Vanessa during an interview with Us Weekly.
"My feelings were not coming back, no matter what I tried to do," he told the outlet.
Tres admitted that he stopped being intimate with Vanessa because he no longer shared the same feelings for her as he once did. Tres also shared that Vanessa decided to cut off their ties after he asked the latter to help him with his resume.
"I wanted to meet to work on building a friendship together, and she thought that we were meeting to work on our marriage."
