Coldplay Frontman Chris Martin Stalling Divorce Process to Stop Gwyneth Paltrow From Remarrying

Chris Martin isn't ready to divorce Gwyneth Paltrow. The English singer-songwriter is allegedly stalling their divorce proceedings to stop the American actress from remarrying.

According to Italian magazine Grazia via Metro, the Coldplay frontman still hasn't responded to divorce papers because he can't handle seeing her getting serious with someone else. It can be remembered that Paltrow has been publicly smitten with television writer-director Brad Falchuk.

Paltrow and Falchuk have been globetrotting the world recently, much to the displeasure of Martin. People reported that the pair had a long holiday weekend in Mexico earlier this year. Paltrow's two kids Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, was with them.

Shortly after their Mexico escapade, Paltrow and Falchuk spent quality time together in Paris. An Instagram photo of the awestruck couple showed them taking pictures of the Pompidou Centre art gallery. The two later flew over the Austrian Alps via a helicopter, as per Daily Mail.

Martin is very aware of what's been going on with Paltrow and Falchuk. However, the singer is still unsure about what he feels about the actress. During one of their talks, Paltrow admitted to Martin that she is contemplating marrying and having children with Falchuk.

"The problem with Chris is he doesn't know what he wants. He doesn't seriously want to get back with Gwyneth but he also isn't ready to see her settled down with anyone else," said one source. "The truth is, Chris stalling on signing documents is very much a calculated move to stop Gwyneth remarrying. He's just not ready to let her go."

The insider added that when Paltrow and Martin decided to separate a few years back, they fully agreed to prioritize their children. They are still open to the possibility of remarrying each other but only when their kids have moved out of the house.
