After a short hiatus, CBS viewers will get to see "Criminal Minds" on the small screens again. The upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 11 is something that fans need to look forward to.
According to Christian Today, the new episode in "Criminal Minds" Season 11 titled "The Sandman" will feature the BAU heads as they search for the man responsible for the UnSub abducting of children while their parents are asleep.
This "Criminal Minds" episode is similar to the European folklore where a mythical creature called "Sandman" visits the children in their dreams. However, in the show, the children will have nightmares after the UnSub snatched them away from their family.
Based on the "Criminal Minds" promo trailer, the new UnSub uses a mixture of sand and glue. He sprinkled it in the eyes of the parents so they will remain asleep while he carries out his plans.
Meanwhile, the trailer also revealed that someone on the team would be in grave danger. It features Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) kissing his girlfriend Savannah Hayes (Rochelle Aytes) but the scene ended in a cliffhanger.
There are speculations that Morgan is still looking for the man who abducted him in "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 16 where he almost got killed. He was lucky to survive by managing to escape just in time. While the abductor remains on the loose, Morgan and the people close to him are in danger.
Meanwhile, per Design & Trend, fans want supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) back in "Criminal Minds." She departed from the series in season 7. Per the report, Prentiss is hardworking and competent which made many fans fall in love with the character.
Prentiss has sharp profiling skills, is very friendly and empathetic. She deeply cares for the team and always keeps her cool even during hostile negotiations. She is calm and level-headed, which is an advantage, especially during a discussion with even the heartless criminals.
"Criminal Minds" Season 11 episode 17 airs on Wednesday, Mar. 16 on CBS.
