’19 Kids And Counting’ Stars Not Trusting Josh Duggar Despite Being Out Of Rehab? Duggar Siblings Admit Rebuilding Trust Would Be Hard

Josh Duggar, the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" series, has finally reunited with his family in Arkansas. He is reportedly back home after seeking treatment in a faith-based rehabilitation center in Rockford, Illinois.

Last year, the Duggar family's tight-knit relationship was tested when reports emerged that Josh sexually molested underage girls as a teenager. Then after a few months, the family was once again put under the spotlight when the 28-year-old reality star made a confession about his porn addiction and infidelity to wife, Anna.

Due to his confession, Josh Duggar sought treatment at a rehab in Illinois. But now, he is finally back home with his family and his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have released a positive statement about their son's return, Entertainment Tonight noted.

"Josh has completed his residential rehabilitation program," the Duggars said in a statement. "We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program. It was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh."

"Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family," they added. "We look to God for help and guidance and place all of our trust in Him. We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead."

Josh Duggar's siblings, however, recently admitted that while they have forgiven their brother's mistakes, they still need some time to build up the trust they once shared with him, Daily Mail revealed.

"I definitely have forgiven Josh. It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart," Jessa Duggar-Seewald said, as People quoted. "And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future."

Jinger, on the other hand, said that their family has come out "stronger and purified" because of the scandal. Josiah also added that there is no point being bitter but Joy stressed that she still can't trust her older brother Josh.

In other news, Josh Duggar's reunion with his family just came in time for the premiere of his sisters' new show, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." According to International Business Times, the Duggars are set to make a television comeback on Mar. 15, Tuesday at 9 p.m. on TLC.
