Christina Ricci, the 33-year-old former Pan Am star has secretly wed her beau on Saturday in New York City, according to People.
Christina Ricci married camera technician James Heerdegen's in a beautiful ceremony in which Ricci wore a gorgeous Givenchy haute couture wedding dress. The dress was white silk tulle with an "appliqué of Chantilly lace and satin piping, embroidered with micro pearls," according to the report.
This is Christina Ricci's first marriage after breaking off her engagement with comedian Owen Benjamin.
Although no media knew about the previous wedding date, Ricci had told Us Weekly in May she was planning a "moderately sized wedding," and that a fashion designer friend of hers was designing her wedding gown.
"I'm excited to be with all my friends and family and just have a lovely night," she told the mag. "I love so many things about [James]. He's my favorite person on Earth."
According to the Daily Mail, who had more details of the wedding but no photos, Ricc opted for a more conservative hairstyle, with a side bun. She also had a veil of white tulle, which had "matching Chantilly lace appliqué."
"Once the formalities were out of the way, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before joining the new Mr. and Mrs. Heerdegen for dinner and dessert. It is said the couple chose to forgo the traditional first dance, though there was plenty of dancing to be had by everyone during the evening's festivities," the Mail says.
