If you in need of a cuteness overdose today, than this is the right video for you.
In a Youtube video which is making the rounds today, an emotional 10-month-old baby girl named Mary-Lynne Leroux is moved to tears by her mom Amanda's heartfelt rendition of "My Heart Can't Tell You No," by Rod Stewart.
The young child's eyes well up with tears from the moment her mother starts bellowing out those tunes, the girl smiling face gives way to a flood of tears.
According to the Scientific American, a study completed in 2009 showed that music "powerfully influenced the emotional ratings" of subjects who were given music clips to listen to and then given photographed facial expressions to view and rate, based on the sad or happy music they listened to.
Right This Minute reached out to the baby's mother to get her reaction from all the attention the video has been receiving after she uploaded it to YouTube.
Amanda Leroux said she's "in shock" at all the attention the video is getting and explains that this is the only song her daughter, now 1, reacts to in this way. "It's almost as if she understands," she says.
When Leroux, who is not a professional singer, told her husband, Alain, about their only child's emotional response, he didn't believe it. "One day she decided to record it and I got to see it for the first time and I was completely blown away," he says.
