John Boyega surprised children patients with toys in London on Friday. The 23-year-old star granted a special wish for a young fan, Daniel Bell, as he brought "Star Wars" on behalf of the Rays of Sunshine children's charity.
The "Star Wars" actor was seen wearing clothes as Finn as he meets the five-year-old Daniel Bell dressed as a stormtrooper. The child has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, per People.
The Bafta-winning actor posted a photo collage of himself with Bell on Instagram. Via the social media site, John Boyega said that he is really thankful for the opportunity and hope he played a little part in making Daniel Bell smile.
Belfast Telegraph reported that as soon as the actor found out about Daniel's wish to meet Finn from "Star Wars," he was intent in making the boy's wish come true. He even described the experience as "fantastic."
"It was fantastic to be a part of his very special wish with Rays of Sunshine," Boyega said.
On the other hand, Daniel's mom, Rosalind thanked Rays of Sunshine and John Boyega on Facebook. She thanked them for granting her son's special wish, which is to meet Finn from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and for brightening the lives of other seriously ill children by bringing toys to the hospital.
The mom stated that it is priceless seeing his son smiling and to know "how much time and effort Rays of Sunshine have put in" as well as John Boyega.
"These things can't be bought and really do mean the world," Daniel's mother said.
